The DEL covers are made up of opaque PVC slats or polycarbonate solar slats connected to a manual, solar or electric power supply. The hanging kits positioned at the end of the pool are a standardised safety device that locks the cover and prevents children under 5 years of age from accessing the pool and therefore from falling.
The automatic slatted covers also offers the advantage of limiting evaporation, responsible for the drop in water level, while preserving the temperature of the pool and limiting external pollution and impurities (e.g. falling plants and insects).
Easy to use, the automatic slatted covers are often electrically operated and roll up, which saves effort in covering or uncovering the pool.

The safety of DEL automatic slatted covers
The DEL automatic slatted coverscomply with the NF P90-308 french standard relating to the law on swimming pool safety. This law requires the installation of a standardised safety device for private pools for family use. As a reminder, since 2006 your private in-ground pool must be equipped with a standardised safety device to prevent the risk of drowning.
The installation of safety equipment does not replace the vigilance of parents or responsible adults, which remains the essential factor for the protection of young children.
Safety is only ensured when the safety cover is closed, locked and correctly installed according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- Climbing, walking or jumping on a safety blanket or on a automatic slatted cover safety blanket is prohibited.
- In the event of a malfunction preventing the pool from being closed and secured, or in the event of the temporary unavailability of the equipment or pool, take all measures to prevent access to the pool by young children until the cover is repaired.
